The EU and the UK reach a provisional agreement on citizens` rights and the financial regime of Brexit. The UK left the EU on 31 January 2020 at midnight (23:00 GMT). A transitional period is now in effect until 31 December 2020. During this period, all EU laws and regulations continue to apply in the UK. For businesses and the public, virtually nothing will change. This will give everyone more time to prepare for the new agreements that the EU and the UK intend to conclude after 31 December 2020. 2. In the United Kingdom and in the Member States in situations where the United Kingdom is involved, the following acts or provisions apply to the recognition and enforcement of judgments, decisions, deeds, judicial transactions and agreements: the British Parliament decides that an additional extension of the date of Brexit is necessary, since it wishes to first consider the relevant legislation before the vote on the withdrawal agreement. The UK government is then asking the EU to postpone the date of Brexit to 31 January 2020. The United Kingdom (United Kingdom) left the European Union (EU) on 31 January 2020. RESOLVED to ensure an ordered withdrawal by various separation provisions aimed at preventing disruption and ensuring legal certainty for citizens and economic operators, as well as for the judicial and administrative authorities of the EU and the United Kingdom, but without ruling out that the separation provisions will be replaced by agreements on future relations, we are targeting the type of agreements that the EU has already concluded with Canada and other friendly countries in recent years. Our proposal builds on previous EU agreements, such as the Comprehensive Economic Agreement, the EU-Japan Economic Partnership Agreement and the EU-South Korea Free Trade Agreement.
