Chalet Views Apartment has two bedrooms and is fully self-contained. Views overlook Mount Donna Buang, stunning gardens and the hamlet of Warburton. Escape to this peaceful hideaway to find the inspiration and facilities for creative thinking, writing, editing, manuscript or thesis development.
During your sojourn, with a minimum three nights’ stay, you will have two rooms that double as bedrooms and private workshpaces, a fully functioning kitchen, a sitting room and kitchen area. Each bedroom has a balcony where you can sit, write and allow yourself that very important thinking time. All windows look out onto beautiful views.
Three writers can stay at any one time, with a third bedroom – the Garden Room – located a short stroll from the apartment. This room looks out onto a glorious quiet garden, with your own sitting area outside under a mighty Beech tree. The ceiling is low offering a cosy affect, but if claustrophobia is something thing you deal with, this room may not suit you. When staying in the Garden Room your bathroom facilites are a short walk to the apartment.
Chalet Views Apartment is an ideal escape away from your regular rhythm of life. A place for you to advance your writing in private or you may choose to attend with others from your writing network, to collaborate with colleagues in self-run writing intensives. Chalet Views Apartment is a tranquil place, with beautiful gardens for you to enjoy and there are walks by the river, closeby.
The apartment is located on a mountain which means there are stairs you will need to use.
All linen, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are supplied. The apartment has a split system so it is warm in winter and cool in summer. Each bedroom has its own heater for those chilly nights and extra blankets and pillows are available also. Electric blankets add extra cosiness.

What to bring: Pack personal clothing, including warm clothes in winter months; food to cook – there is a local IGA. Bed linen and bath towels are provided.
